In 2020, at 70, I started painting again. I seem to be 
able to sign my work only with my names given at birth: Goverdina Maria. In my work I try to express the essential of what I see and of what touches me. I like bright colours, perhaps that’s why I call myself an ‘expressive essentialist’.
